This is my friend, Arlene Terrell. Not only is she a wonderful friend, but she is a very talented costume designer! I happened to meet her through Ebay, where she was selling her costumes, and come to find out she lives just minutes away from my Mother and Father! Anyway, she and I met and we became fast friends. She made me some absolutely gorgeous one of a kind costumes that I will forever cherish. As a matter of fact, when I had to make my will before my heart surgery, I actually willed them back to her, because I knew that she would take special care of them. I made this page for her to celebrate not only her as my friend, but also her first place win for the most beautiful steampunk costume in the world as awarded by Bustledress.com! Not only are her costumes winners, but she is as well! You can take a look at her creations at www.widowsweeds.com I'm sure you will agree! Thanks for looking! Layout Info: Paper-Graphic 45. Ink: Ranger Industries. Clock and sprockets: Tim Holtz. Flowers: Recollections. Glue dots: Zots, Recollections, Gorilla Glue. Brads: Tim Holtz and Recollections. Bling: Want 2 Scrap. This photo was taken back in 2008. Since my Son's birthday is one week prior to Christmas, we always try to do something special for his day...poor kid gets cheated! Anyway, they had a wonderful time as the park was not very busy and snoop was ready for a pic! Guess it goes to show how much I have to scrap being that this picture is two years old! Sheesh! Thanks for taking a look! Layout Info: Paper: Tim Holtz Ideaology, and Basic Editions. Lettering and snowflakes: Tim Holtz Grunge Board, Metal Findings and Printing Press and Jasmine cartridges from Cricut. Scroll Embellishments: EK Sucess. Paper Punch: Martha Stewart. Ink and Stickles: Ranger Industries. Brads and Glue: Recollections.

I am so excited to have found that ScrapFit.com has chosen me to be a guest design team member for the month of May! I consider this to be a huge accomplishment, especially since I've been hoping to become a design team member for some time now. I am thankful that Scrapfit thought my work was worthy enough for such an honor!
I have been given two themes...Now it's up to me! I will not give away any detail as I don't think that I can, but once I get the a-okay, I will be posting them on here! Thank you Sara, for considering me! Here's their site: http://scrapfit.blogspot.com/
Hello and Happy New Year!
2010 was quite a year for me. Bittersweet...that is all that I will say about it. 2011 will be a much better year. I'm looking forward and looking up, and leave the passed...well...in the passed! LOL.
My Creative Scrapbook.com has been doing what is called a "Big Sketch Contest". Each month, a basic layout sketch is given and the design team as well as members are to interpret a layout from it. It's been loads of fun and has kept me from getting scrapbookers block!
I created this layout in honor of our little guy, Buster, who has since gone to doggy heaven in 2009. Robert and I had him as our little "baby" before the kids were born. He was great fun, and we said he was a "little people"...I swear he could understand everything we were saying at all times! He hated to be left alone. There were a few times where we would have our couch cushions completly unzipped and stuffing all over our condo as if it snowed inside the living room! We were Blessed to have had him in our lives for 10 years. My children grew up with him and he protected and loved them as if they were his own. This is for you, "Stinky Doodles"! Thanks for looking! Layout Info: Paper: Colorbok. Punches: Fiskars, Martha Stewart. Ink: Ranger Industries. Ribbon: Craft Essentials. Brads: Tim Holtz. Embellishments: Cloud Nine Design, 7 Gypsies. Glue/Glue Dots: Ranger Industries and Zots.
